Neck - SS304 / Silicone. Barrel manways are designed to be used in conjunction with a variety of wine or spirit barrels. The barrel manway uses a stainless steel bolted flange design which allows for mounting to the head of a wood barrel.

The barrel will require cutting and drilling for installation. Results will vary with barrel quality and care, but a properly mounted manway can allow for upright or side orientations, soft CO2 transfers, and other uses. The manway gives the brewer better access into the barrel for hop / fruit / other additions, easy cleaning, or for alternative oak methods in neutral barrels.

The unit features two tri-clamp ports, which can be used for a spray ball or any one of our tri-clamp accessories. We offer a downloadable PDF template to aid in installation. We warn however, that because each manway may vary slightly prepping the barrel for installation should be based off of the actual unit you receive as opposed to entirely trusting the template. This manway will hold pressure, however always observe the limitations of the barrel it is installed on, over-pressurizing a barrel can result in unsafe conditions.
