The traditional Greek Cypriot BBQ cooks food by rotating the meat over charcoal on skewers or spits. These barbecues are perfect for cooking pork, lamb or chicken. This Authentic Cyprus Rotisserie Foukou Charcoal BBQ is handmade in Cyprus to the highest manufacturing standards using h. Igh-quality sturdy and Robust 2.5 mm thick steel. The BBQ set comes complete with. 1 x metal BBQ tray / box (main body), made from 2.5 mm thick steel dimensions.
70 cm x 32 cm x 9 cm. 4 x steel legs (length 48 cm). 1 x basic battery operated motor (size D batteries not included). 3 x large stainless steel skewers of 88 cm including wooden handles (ideal for Souvla or chicken).
11 x small stainless steel skewers of 45 cm including wooden handles (ideal for Souvlaki, kebabs, sausages). 1 x gear drive mechanism to rotate the large skewers. 1 x gear drive mechanism to rotate the small skewers. 1 x adjustable lever system (with wooden handles) for raising/lowering the large skewers. The BBQ is sent to you boxed and will need assembling - there are basic instructions included and it is simple to set up.
The motor that comes with the Rotisserie Charcoal BBQ is a basic motor to get you started. It will turn up to 6 kg total weight (including the weight of the skewers) so if you are planning on cooking larger amounts of meat you will need a more robust motor.We have various mains and battery operated motors available -please see our other listings for accessories such motors, chicken grips (for securing full chickens) etc. The BBQ tray/box can be filled with charcoal or briquettes we would recommend using.
Our BBQs are handmade in Cyprus and are not mass manufactured, because of this they may come with some minor imperfections, sharp edges and scratches to the paint work. The paint is cosmetic and does not offer protection to the BBQ so this will not affect the long term function or use of the BBQ. We always recommend keeping your BBQ dry in a shed or garage when not in use to protect it from the elements and prevent rust, if you do this your BBQ will be with you for many years.
